Cup Game Re-Arranged - 1st February
With the re-arranged Oxfordshire Senior Cup game suffering another postponement on Saturday it will now be played, at Ardley, on Tuesday 9th February.
The Ressies got back into the swing on Saturaday with a 1-0 win against Fairford Town.

Pegasus Juniors 1 Ardley United 2- 23rd January
FTL Futbol Hellenic League Premier Division
 Ardley United’s first match in over 5 weeks saw them take all 3 points from their visit to Hereford to play Pegasus Juniors.
Troy Bryan and Stuart Bridges were on the score sheet for Ardley.
All to play for Tuesday night when United visit Abingdon Town.

Frozen Consequences - 9th January
Freezing weather yet again played havoc with the Premier Division programme and all games were postponed. The enforced layoff from the ongoing winter weather has more consequences than just not playing matches. Hook Norton Saturday - 27th December
With the weather taking toll of games for the latter part of December, it's the start of a "Football New Year" on Saturday away to Hook Norton (Kick Off 3pm). Hooky have suffered this season, still a side never to be under estimated though Ardley will be looking to get back into winning ways.
The Ressies will be hosting Reserves local rivals Kidlington. (Kick Off 3pm)

Richard Thompson admits to knowing precious little Ardley United, but the new Oaklands Park chief knows all about "Brockie"!. Explaining: "Kev and I had many a battle in the Southern League while I was managing Yate and he was with Banbury. I've noticed he's taken a lot of ex-Banbury players with him to Ardley, not least their striker Troy Bryan, who scored a hat-trick last weekend." So all to play for at Almondsbury tomorrow, let hope that a win for United creates the right introduction for the new Almonds boss. |
